CMIS100 Keyboarding

Three-minute speed test requiring a minimum of 30 net words a minute (five error maximum). Students should plan for approximately 15 minutes.

CMIS101 Computer Literacy

Application-based test covering essential computer skills, Windows file management, Word; Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Students should plan for approximately one hour. CMIS102 Introduction to Windows

Application-based test covering fundamentals of Windows such as basic operations, manipulation of the Windows desktop and file management. CMIS124 Document Production I

Speed test requiring a minimum of 35 net words a minute (five error maximum) and a timed production test requiring a minimum score of 80 percent. Students should plan for approximately one hour.

CMIS153 Microsoft Outlook I

Application-based test covering fundamentals of Microsoft Outlook such as electronic mail, calendar and appointments, contacts, tasks, notes and folders. Students should plan for approximately one hour.
